Sautéed Asparagus and Mushrooms

Ingredients:
1 lb (450g) fresh asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces 🥦
2 cups mushrooms, sliced (button or cremini) 🍄
2 tbsp olive oil 🫒
1 tbsp butter 🧈
3 cloves garlic, minced 🧄
1 tsp soy sauce (optional, for flavor) 🥢
½ tsp black pepper 🧂
½ tsp salt 🧂
1 tsp lemon juice (optional) 🍋
Instructions:
1️⃣ Prepare the asparagus and mushrooms:
Wash and trim the asparagus by snapping off the woody ends. Slice the mushrooms.
2️⃣ Heat the skillet:
Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat until melted. 🫒🧈
3️⃣ Cook the mushrooms:
Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet. Sauté for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they release their moisture and turn golden brown. 🍄
4️⃣ Add the asparagus and garlic:
Stir in the asparagus pieces and minced garlic. Cook for another 4-5 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender-crisp. 🧄🥦
5️⃣ Season and finish:
