Ingredients:
For the casserole:
4 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced
2 cups cooked chicken ham, diced
2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
For the creamy sauce:
4 tbsp butter
4 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 cups milk
1 cup chicken broth
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp salt
For the topping:
1 cup breadcrumbs
2 tbsp melted butter
2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare the sauce:
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until golden.
Gradually add milk and chicken broth, whisking continuously until smooth and thickened.
Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Set aside.
Assemble the casserole:
In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, layer the cooked chicken, chicken ham, and Swiss cheese.
Pour the creamy sauce evenly over the top.
Add the topping:
In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs, melted butter, and Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle over the casserole.
Bake:
Place the casserole in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbling.
Serve:
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
