Ingredients:
For the lobster tails:
4 lobster tails (about 6 oz each)
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
For the garlic butter sauce:
4 tbsp unsalted butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
½ cup heavy cream
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp paprika
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
Prepare the lobster tails:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Use kitchen scissors to cut through the top shell of each lobster tail down to the base of the tail, being careful not to cut the meat. Gently pull the lobster meat out of the shell and rest it on top for easy access while cooking. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
Bake the lobster tails:
Place the prepared lobster tails on a baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until the meat is opaque and slightly firm to the touch.
Make the garlic butter sauce:
While the lobster tails bake, melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant (about 1 minute).
Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and paprika. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly. Add salt to taste.
Combine:
Once the lobster tails are cooked, spoon the creamy garlic butter sauce over the lobster meat. Return to the oven and broil for an additional 1-2 minutes to caramelize the sauce slightly.
Serve:
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately with crusty bread, mashed potatoes, or steamed vegetables. Enjoy your luxurious dish!
