Ingredients:
For the salad:
5 cups fresh broccoli florets, chopped
½ cup red onion, diced
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup dried cranberries
⅓ cup sunflower seeds
6 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
For the dressing:
¾ cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp granulated sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Prepare the broccoli:
Rinse the broccoli florets and pat them dry. Chop into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large mixing bowl.
Add the mix-ins:
To the broccoli, add the diced red onion, shredded cheddar cheese, dried cranberries, sunflower seeds, and crumbled turkey bacon. Toss to combine.
Make the dressing:
In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Combine:
Pour the dressing over the salad and toss until everything is evenly coated. Adjust seasoning if needed.
Chill and serve:
Cover the salad and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld. Serve chilled.
