Stuffed Minced Meat Rolls

Ingredients:
500 g (1 lb) ground beef or turkey
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Filling:

1/4 cup grated cheese (mozzarella or cheddar works well)
2 tbsp cooked spinach, squeezed dry (optional)
For Searing:

2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions for Stuffed Minced Meat Rolls:
Prepare the Meat Mixture:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, parsley, cumin, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly combined.
Shape and Stuff the Rolls:

Divide the meat mixture into 6-8 portions. Flatten each portion in the palm of your hand to form a small patty.
Place a small amount of grated cheese and a pinch of spinach (if using) in the center of each patty.
Fold the edges around the filling and shape into a roll, sealing the cheese and spinach inside.
Sear the Rolls:

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear the stuffed meat rolls on all sides until browned (about 4-5 minutes total).
Bake with the Gratin:

Transfer the seared rolls to a baking dish. If you like, bake them alongside your gratin for the last 15-20 minutes of cooking to ensure they are fully cooked through.
Serve:

Plate the turkey, broccoli, or cauliflower gratin and place the stuffed minced meat rolls alongside it. Garnish with fresh parsley for a finishing touch.
Tips:
You can prepare the rolls in advance and refrigerate them until ready to cook.
Add a drizzle of tomato sauce or gravy over the meat rolls for extra flavor.
