2 tbsp olive oil
1 garlic clove, halved
For the topping:
8 oz (225g) burrata cheese
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
2 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
1 tbsp balsamic glaze (optional)
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Prepare the bread: Preheat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Brush both sides of the baguette slices with olive oil and place them on a baking sheet. Toast in the oven for 5-7 minutes until golden and crisp.
Rub with garlic: Remove the toasted bread from the oven and gently rub each slice with the cut side of the garlic clove for a hint of garlic flavor.
Prepare the topping: In a bowl, combine halved cherry tomatoes, olive oil, salt, pepper, and fresh basil. Toss gently to mix.
Assemble the bruschetta: Place a portion of burrata cheese on each toasted baguette slice. Spoon the tomato and basil mixture over the burrata.
