Ingredients:
300g shrimp, peeled and deveined

200g smoked sausage, sliced (chorizo, merguez, or smoked sausage of your choice)

1 broccoli, cut into small florets

1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced (optional to add color)

3 tbsp honey

2 tbsp soy sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated (optional for more flavor)

1 tbsp olive oil or sesame oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

Toasted sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)

Chives or green onions, chopped, for garnish

Instructions:

In a small bowl, mix together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Reserve this sauce for later.

In a large skillet or wok, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the broccoli and red bell pepper, and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp. Remove from the pan and set aside.

In the same pan, add the sausage slices and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Then add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes.

Return the broccoli and bell pepper to the pan with the shrimp and sausage. Pour the honey-soy sauce over the mixture, then toss well to coat all the ingredients. Cook for another 1-2 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.

Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with toasted sesame seeds and chives or green onions. Serve hot with rice or noodles. Enjoy!
