(A rich, comforting pasta dish with tender, seared steak bites tossed in a creamy garlic Parmesan sauce—an indulgent and satisfying meal for any occasion!)
Ingredients:
For the steak bites:
500 g (1 lb) steak (sirloin, ribeye, or strip steak), cut into bite-sized pieces 🥩
2 tbsp olive oil 🫒
1 tsp garlic powder 🧄
½ tsp paprika 🌶️
Salt and black pepper, to taste 🧂
For the pasta and sauce:
300 g (10 oz) fettuccine, linguine, or penne pasta 🍝
2 tbsp unsalted butter 🧈
4 garlic cloves, minced 🧄
1 ½ cups (360 ml) heavy cream 🥛
1 cup (100 g) grated Parmesan cheese 🧀
1 tsp Italian seasoning 🌿
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat) 🌶️
Salt and black pepper, to taste 🧂
½ cup (120 ml) reserved pasta water 💧
For garnish:
Fresh parsley, chopped 🌿
Extra Parmesan cheese 🧀
Instructions:
Step 1: Cook the Pasta
1️⃣ Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain and set the pasta aside.
Step 2: Sear the Steak Bites
2️⃣ Pat the steak pieces dry with a paper towel. Season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
3️⃣ Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites in a single layer (work in batches if needed). Sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and juicy. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Step 3: Make the Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce
4️⃣ In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
5️⃣ Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes (if using), and a pinch of salt and pepper. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
6️⃣ Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce is smooth and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water to thin it out.
Step 4: Combine Pasta and Steak Bites
7️⃣ Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until fully coated in the creamy sauce. Return the seared steak bites to the skillet and gently mix to combine.
Step 5: Serve and Garnish
8️⃣ Divide the creamy garlic Parmesan pasta into bowls. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes:
Steak Tips: Let the steak rest at room temperature for 10-15 minutes before cooking for an even sear. Don’t overcrowd the pan to avoid steaming.
Protein Alternatives: Swap the steak for chicken, shrimp, or mushrooms for a different twist.
Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat with a splash of cream to revive the sauce.
