Ingredients:
2 sheets of puff pastry 

4 slices of ham 

4 slices of cheese (such as Swiss or cheddar) 

1 egg (for egg wash) 

Fresh parsley, chopped 

Salt and pepper 

Instructions:
Preheat Oven: 

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare Puff Pastry: 

Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface. Cut into squares or rectangles.
Assemble the Pastries: 

Place a slice of ham
on each puff pastry square, followed by a slice of cheese
.


Fold the pastry over the filling, sealing the edges.
Brush with Egg Wash: 

Whisk the egg and brush the top of each pastry with the egg wash for a golden, crispy finish.
Bake: 

Place the pastries on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and puffed up.
Garnish: 

Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley
for a burst of color and flavor.
